Help Please!!!!!

hey guys, i was at a local solo II race this weekend where this guy has a 84 rx7 for sale. he said he would let me have it for $300. there is no cancer on the body. the frame is straight pure arizona car. he said that the seals would need replacing sometime soon. the carb was just rebuilt by the rotary doctor in so cal. what else should i ask him. is this a good deal? and if i wanted to build this for pro rally what kind of motor swap would be best? right now it is just NA. please advise! i need to act quickly!!!! Thanks!!!!

Re: Help Please!!!!!

if you're going to have to replace seals soon, that means rebuild, and that means money. Either way, $300 bucks for a car that runs is an awesome deal, i'd take it.

Re: Help Please!!!!!

As far as reliability the 1st gen is the best, you can build those engines for pretty much what ever your wanting to do, theres a few 1st gen performance sites that I've seen but I cant remember what they were I'll c if I cant refind them....

Re: Help Please!!!!!

On that point, soyo, i agree, rxclub is the best place if you want to sell things, but not for socializing or information.
