87 wrangler died at stop light

My Jeep just died out this morning. My Jeep started up just fine this morning. I went about 3 miles down the road and it just shut off when I was stopped at a stop light. I attempted to start it and all I got was cranking. It would crank but it would not start.

I checked the cables (battery, cylinoid, starter, & alternator) and all cables are tight. Please provide me with any insight as to what the trouble may be.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

My 87 jeep had a similar problem. It died and would just crank, I had to replace the computer then it started.

It is fixed now. Found that we were not getting any spark and the trouble was with the ignition module.
