Question Serious question

Whats faster? 91 camaro z28 v-8 305 tpi hp 210 285 torque. Agains 3000gt sl v-6 222hp 205 torque. ( need to know before i buy either of them. Both sharpe cars in my mind. Plse no flames. If anyone has raced a camaro Z of that model that would be cool for some info ( make sure it was the tpi not tbi version tho tpi=much bttr lol.

Off the line the Z28 is going to be faster. However, the SL will run with it at the higher speeds and looks a thousand times better. My wife used to own early nineties camero and it wasn't really all that fast (though comparing to the VR4 was unfair)

confused1, it's worth the wait. Why buy something you're not fully satisfied with knowing that there's something out there better looking or whatever. It's up to you but personally, I'd wait. Hehe I waited over a year to get mine.

In my opinion the 4th gen cameros were the worst in terms of looks, the 3rd gen was by far the best followed by the 1st gen.

don't let straight line performance be the deciding factor when you compare these two cars, as that is the ONLY dimension in which the Z28 wins. Every other dimension there is no contest that the SL is 10 times the car. Remember, you can always TT swap down the road if you REALLY want some performance...
