SEIZED BOLTS last time i ever mention it i sware!!

i have had lots of trouble with seized bolts in my car ...i find them like eggs in my house on easter!!every where and no where..

i have tried alot of crap like an easy out kit" garbage peice of shit!! drilled for like 10 mins and got absolutely no where best 10 bucks i ever spent lol

anywayz if this happens to anyone and u feel like all u can do is cry... just take your problems to a MACHINE SHOP they know whats up

i asked about this problem like twice before and everyone said the "easy out kit" is all you need THAT IS A LIE take it to a machine shop!!

There's the stuff called "PB Blaster" a penetration spray my buddy uses (I'm from NY so I know all about rusted and seized screws and bolts). He gets it from work (he's a mechanic for Mitsubishi). But I just read a post on some site that says they only sell it in the US and people recommended a product called "PEN Fluid 2000" made in Calgary. You should probably check out one of those; just spray, let it set of a minute, and it should loosen up pretty well.

Or tap on them with a hammer while you're turning. Its basically the same thing.

My favorite is a vise grip pliers if u have enough room for it. You can squeeze the hell out of it with the pliers so it wont slip and then u just do ur work. Also with the help of PB blaster or a torch.

i think if the bolt is seized and hasnt been takin off for years i dont think there is anything u can do except brake it and go from there, people have told me tap it with a hammer and spray wd40 i guess that would work if the bolt was in decent shape.. never ever worked for me

i dont believe in the sprays il try wd40 cause i have it lying around and hammering il try two cause that one makes bit more sence to me

PB blaster all the way, really, this stuff is great, then like sensei said, go with the vise grip pliers after u sprayed the PB blaster and let it soak/sit it. Most mechanic shops sell this stuff or just have it sitting around and you can ask if you can buy some from them or even borrow it. They generally say yes

WD40 is watered down 40 weight oil. Don't buy it again. PB Blaster is great for dissolving rust so I would spray that on the rusted bolt first. Then I would get a hammer and pound on the bolt alittle to unstick the threads from eachother. Vibration works great so if you have an airhammer and know how to be gentle with it you could use that in place of the hammer. I would find a way to grip the bolt if it was broken with either welding a nut on it or visegrips. Then I would heat the surrounding area of the bolt with a torch. Then I would use the visegrips or whatever to unscrew the bolt while tapping the end with a hammer. When all these things are used in conjunction there are almost no bolts that do not come out. The bad news is that this takes some skills that most do not have or intend on getting. I wish you the best.
