How do you Convert PS to HP?
Hi I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to convert ps to hp. I was trying to figure out what 300ps, 360ps, and 390ps was in hp but I didn't know how to convert it.
By the way if you know how to convert kW to hp you can feel free to include that as well. Thanks |

Re: How do you Convert PS to HP?
PS (pferdestarke) is the german abbreviation for horsepower. They're one and the same.
1 Kilowatt = ~1 1/3 Horsepower, if I recall correctly. Edit - Well, this site says differently. ::shrug:: http://www.autospeed.com/cms/A_1228/article.html |

Re: How do you Convert PS to HP?
HP to KW: take the HP number and multiply by .75
KW to HP: divide the KW number by .75 HP to PS: the numbers for these are almost interchangable, they are withing .xx of each other, so if you only have the PS number the HP is about the same.
