miata torsen swap
does anyone know how to do this or anyone that did the swap? because im interested in it. I forgot if a different rearend was required or what.

For the Miata TORSEN you use the N/A diff housing, FD TORSEN uses the TII diff housing. As for the write-up...

do you know if it's possible to use the audi a4 quattro torsen? we're using that one for our formula car and it's really kick ass.

TORque SENsitive, it's a geared LSD that applies equal torque on accel to both wheels vs. the stock clutch pack or open differentials.

nevermind, i figured the problem out. The 91 and up models of the rx-7 have the t-1 torsen diff, and the 95 and up miatas AND A4s have the better version, the t-2. so i found out it's the same one. However, i'm still wondering if it's possible to swap the audi one into an rx. because if i'm not mistaken, isn't audi's revolutionary "quattro" all wheel drive system just 3 torsen t-2 differentials? so one wrecked audi = 3 new torsen diffs for rx owners! (that's what i hope anyways, i gotta look more into this)
