Street Brawl with Old Camaro

i hit the streets last night looking for some action so i ran my usual course which took me around my local mall. The first few rounds i saw nothing but on the 3rd pass i saw this nice looking 86-89 Camaro pull out of a parking garage. Being the nice guy Iam, i allowed him to pull infront me so i could see if it was the fabled I-ROC. I didnt see any badges or decals suggesting it had the 350 CI W-8. Knowing it would be an easy kill i pulled beside him at the stoplight and asked what he had under the hood. He told me it still had the stock 302CI whcih was good for 150-160HP. I snuffled a laugh and asked him if he wanted to. He took a long look at my car and grinned as the light turned green. He caught me by surprise as he smoked his rear wheels and took off. I caught up to him and rode his ass until he sped up more. With all 3 lanes clogged up with traffic i followed him onto RT.3 where we could have some fighting room. Luckily i caught an open lane where i passed him. He did the same as he cut over 2 lanes to the fast lane and we proceded to play cat and mouse.

I decided i had enough and upped the boost to max 12.6. I eventually got a good 4-5 car lengths ahead of him and we both took exit 6 and pulled over. He got out and popped the hood where saw a new Edelbrock Carbeurater and a March Ram air system.

No it was the Base 302 CI(5.0)

Burnt do you have alot of money? I mean it seems like only days ago your were wanting a turbo, now you have purchased, installed, tuned, and raced with a turbo. Very Interesting.

He obviously didn't know what he was talking about, he has a 305. Which has 170hp.....still slow but how can he not know what motor he has??

lets just say i got a good paying job as well as $$SS in the bank from my family jewels????. And yes the guy had a 305 cubic inch V8 rated at 170HP.According to my resourses the Edelbrock Carb he had in gave it a 10% increase in HP

Where in the world did you get that TRD Turbo? afaik, TRD never even made a turbo for the echo. How are you pushing 12.6psi on stock internals? Running that much boost on a stock echo motor would blow it within seconds. How did you even get the Greddy 3sgte intercooler to work with your motor? Its not even a FMIC. It sits on top of the motor, and even if you modded it, you'd need a custom hood to even use it half effectively. How are you using a CAI if the IC is on top? theres no room for the CAI to route down away from the heat of the engine. And where in the world did you get a Weapon R CAI? Weapon R only makes SRI. And at what RPM are you getting that many lbs/ft at?

He went above and beyond my simple this is bullshit. Which however, it is. we should just drop it and ignore this kid and his "bank account of family jewels".
Hopefully you'll see ban land, First you go into our stang forums telling people u bought a 6banger, it is slow and clunky, so you are going to put a 1.4L Honda in it (i belive that was size). Hmmm that wasnt going to start a flame. Now you sold it for an echo, which is fully modded in what 3 f***ing days? I dont believe you, the others in here dont believe you, and no one likes you. Time to leave AF and get a life, let the rest of us here have mature converstations.
