Mod suggestions

New to this forum, so hello to all. I've got an '02 GP SE with the 3100, and am looking for suggestions on what mods/products/companies people have had success with?
I'm active in a few other GP forums and am taking a sort-of concensus to see what suggestions seem to always come up, but definitely any feedback is greatly appreciated.
My car is pretty stock, I've got a factory-replacement K&N filter, soon to be replaced by a custom-fabricated FWI, once I get the motivation to do the measuring and get the pieces. Use syn. oil 5w-30 Mobil 1 and just recently changed out my tran fluid for full syn ATF Dextron III Mobil 1. Spark plugs are 2k miles old and car runs good. I put ALOT of miles on my car - kind of a side-effect of living so far out into the country vs where I work, but I do my own oil changes every 3k, and clean out the air filter often, and all the other small maint. items I can do myself.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Re: Mod suggestions

Thanks for the advice 98white. I've been looking at Intense PCMs and possibly the cat back setup. Do you think the u-bend delete is worth the work?

Re: Mod suggestions

im also looking into a pcm in the near future. i think it is, but you dont really feel the difference. If i were you ide just go to an exaust shop and have them take it out, instead of buying that one off of pfyc i think it is. I have my ubend and res taken out.

Re: Mod suggestions

i think the only providers are Intense and ZZP. Which Intense is cheaper for a programmed PCM.

Like L just said 3.1 is not a 3800 series 2.

I would suggest getting ahold of a L67 or a L36 and the corresponding trans. You will not find alot of mods for the 3.1 motor and probably wouldnt be worth modding anyway.

Re: Mod suggestions

Yep, you guys got it - no PCM from Intense for the 3.1L. Ah well, can live without it. Unfortunately Ripn12s this car is my "build up credit" car LoL so couldn't get the GT or the GTP - which of course was my real desire. Don't plan to try and turn the SE into a race-car, I'm realistic enough to know that just can't happen. Really just doing small mods to improve performance to make my 32-mile-each-way trip to work more fun.
