stolen car

Hey everybody,
Well somebody stole my fiero, I was going to get it towed to my house saturday, I went up to check on it friday and it was gone. It threw a rod, so Whoever did it had a rollback tow truck. Neither of the local PDs have any record of someone towing it, so it was done illegaly. If anyone has any suggestions on what I could do to find my car I would greatly appreciate them. Be on the lookout for anyone parting out a red fiero 2m4 in the Lexington/Columbia SC area. My email's [email protected], please don't hesitate to send me any leads on the subject, I've put alot of work into that car and I would really like to get it back.

Thanks,
Greg M

Re: stolen car

Post the VIN if you have it. There's a lot of red 2m4's out there!

Fiero theft is a shame - I'd post my opinion of what I think should happen to the guy who stole it but it's so graphic and violent the moderators would have my head

Re: stolen car

I found my car! it turns out it wasn't stolen at all, a lazy lexington county police officer didn't want to do his paperwork. Instead of costing me about 100 bucks to get it out of the tow-lot and to my house, it ended up costing 210. All because of a lazy cop. I can't complain though, at least I got my car back. By the way, coop8267, I do have a 88 fiero that I'm using for parts. I'm going to need the engine, electrical, and suspension......the interior's shot....but if there's anything out of those categories that you need, let me know. I've been planning on parting it out when I finish restoring my 85. There will be a few engine parts I won't be using too.

peace,
Greg M

Re: stolen car

The hood is in good condition, the paint's chipped in a few places, but no dents that I know of. I think the driver's door is in good condition too, I'd have to check. Only problem is that the 88 body panels don't match the 85s, I don't know about the 84s. I don't think the hood is any different. As far as the headlight motors go, I'm not sure if they work or not, I'll have to test them. Both of my fireos are 4-cylinders.

Re: stolen car

im pretty sure they all had the same body panels. the only panels that are different s the nose and the rear bumper and well the whole rear on the 86 to 88 gt other than that the hood roof doors and fenders should be the same. it doesnt matter if the headlight motors work i can rebuild those. do you have an extra coil and distributor? i need those and the connectors to them.
