Complete: My Fair lady Zeeeeeeee

Well here it is. I have finally finished my Nissan Fairlady Z 300ZX 2 seater. It is in 1:24 scale and is a Tamiya kit. This must be the worst Tamiya kit ever, because people are always praising Tamiya for their superb quality. This kit however was even worse than any Revell kit i have ever done. Crappy molding and impracticle part design made this kit a nightmare to make which quite frankly i am glad to get through, with some enthusiasm left for making more kits. Anyay here it is.

Thanks for looking, and as ever your comments are very welcome.
And thank you Mike for the wheels. Only wish i could have made better use of them.

Sure looks nice for such a crummy kit... You've done an impressive job with an unimpressive kit.

Great Job!

Looks great! JDM!!! Don't know why, but I prefer the stock wheels over those 350Z's though. JAO.

Re: Complete: My Fair lady Zeeeeeeee

Maybe i should have kept them silver. I just thought it would be nice with some bigger wheels and i had never used non standard wheels before. They're not glued on so i could always change them.

Very nice build, that spoiler is great! I like the black rims, too. Very nice looking model.

I did, but that was probably about 15 years ago. Tamiya has come a long way since the earlier days when this kit was made. I think it was my second Tamiya kit (first was the LP400S Countach) and it was a blessing compared to some of the product AMT and Revell were putting out at the time. I still have one unbuilt in my stack, I'll have to take a second look to see how it compares to today's kits. Looks good, love the Anniversary Edition paint job!
