need some help...I'm stumped

Well to make a long story short, I have a 93 pathfinder 4x4 manual transmission..several years ago I had the positive terminal on my battery eat itself. (a week after seeing a miami nissan dealer..imagine that) so all the connections around the positive termainal had to be rewired....recently I have had problem with the truck not wanting to start..and once stalling at speed with nowarning...I seem to have good spark ..good fuel pressure, real good crank...but no combustion...and when it does start I am not getting black smoke or backfiring as if it was flooded...any clue what could be the problem ..have changed the distibutor, plugs, rotor..you know the easy stuff..
