location of the 1984 celica thermostat.

hello,

i have a 1984 celica and i was wondering where the thermostat is located and is it hard to change.

hehe, i was wondering the same thing. Give me a couple days (been really busy) and I'll look at my hanse book to see if it's there. Lemme guess, your water temperature gage bounces all over the place?

It almost has to be in a housing on the block that connects to the lower radiator hose.

yeh this is civic racing changed my name.yeh i havent ran it all winter becouse no heat so i just got looking around and i noticed a house way in the back.of the car by the fire wall.its almost squeezed completly together.like some one put the wrong hose on there..my friend said its the heater core hose.its almost swueezed completly together so i think that =ight have something to do with no heat.and my tempo gauge going crazy.let me know if u think that could be it.
