How is K&N air filter ??
hi , i got a long cold air intake , but the filter is blow off on the high way , so i had to put the factory air intake , so it is good to buy a k&n air filter ( is the filter good , any body here using it ). thanks

i think those cost to much for what your about to gain. you should juss buy a ten dollar intake off ebay. they both do the same and both 10x better than stock.

i didnt really understand the question, but like george said, just go for a cheap ebay intake. The performance gains wont be much different.

Hey killer7, I just had the same thing happen to me. My intake filter blew off on the highway. Did you notice right away or did you drive around without it for a while? I just did a thread about the whole thing the other day because i didn't notice for a few days.
 I'm waiting for my new intake system to arrive. I ordered from ebay yesterday. Total cost including shipping was $30

dankid , i did note right away cause my tire hit on it , but it stop it on the hightway and take out the intake , and drive REALLY SLOW to go home , and put in my factory intake . about to get an oil change on monday , i only drive 700 mile from last time i change oil ( castrol systec 5w30 , and this time i will try mobil 1 systec 10w30 , by the way my intake was aem , and i dont trust those intake on ebay , and i dont think i want to get another long cold air intake ( dont was lost agains ^_^ ).

oh, and k&n does make great filters, i wouldn't buy one off of ebay, i'd rather stay stock. besides, a K&N isn't that expensive
