91 Firebird Headlight Problems

I have a 91 Firebird and when the headlights are activated they occasionally wont go up. If the switch is left on while driving they will randomly pop up. They never have a problem going down only going up. To me it sounds like a relay problem but i cant seem to find the relay for the head lights. I am pretty sure it is not a motor problem because both lights will not come up and it is a duel motor system. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: 91 Firebird Headlight Problems

its your bushings. 3rd and 4th gen are notorious for bad bushings, find a headlight rebuild kit. mine did the same thing. there is no relay to the lights, its hooked directly to he switch in the car. good luck installing it though. try not to kick the car when u try to get to the bushing. if that doesnt fix it, try trcing the power wires back to where they came from, there may be a short.
