Unhappy oldsmobile stalls

Ihave a 1991 98oldsmobile when i run it in the highway it stalls ,but if i ride it in the city about 25 mph and not 40 mph and up it wont stall.and when its stalls have hard time to start.need help!

sounds like a TCC solenoid keeping the torque converter locked up.

its the fuel pump strainer......check out the posts in the alero section....dont let your mechanic tell u its the fuel filter or fuel pump

Unhappy 1992 oldsmobile 98 elite renecy

The car has a great motor but do not have time to fix the car.it shuts down some times when i go over 35mph,the body is in good conditions ,i will sell the car for 400 [email protected].

Your car would be fixed with an $11 part.....Its called the "Sock Strainer"...its replaceable.
