1998 S-10 Reverse Lights Not Working
About 5 months ago I noticed that my reverse lights were not working all the time (intermitantly) Now they do not work at all. I assume it is the switch because the fuses are all good and the bulbs also. If you know a fix for this problem, Please reply. Any help will be appreciated.

Re: 1998 S-10 Reverse Lights Not Working
There is a reverse light switch on the transmission.
I would grab a chilton's or haynes repair manual and do some exploring. |

Re: 1998 S-10 Reverse Lights Not Working
the switch is accessible from underneath. a little tough if it is a zr2 but not too bad otherwise. you can find it in a haynes or chiltons manual or go into your dealer's parts department and they will usually show you in their manual. juat unplug it and replace it the switch is only about $10

Re: 1998 S-10 Reverse Lights Not Working
It was simple, I got the part went to work and put it up on the lift, unpluged the wires, grabed a 7/8th deep well and a ratchet, remove and replace, pluged back in and went home. the switch was easy to access however I did get a small burn from the cat converter.
