:smoka: Guys, I have seen an R33 S2 Gtst. It's done 62000km's, looks ok. Good value (at least I think so).
Anyway, upon test-driving, on accelerating at certain rev's, usually 2000-3000, I hear a vibrating noise that seems to come from the exhaust. It has a cat-to-back after market exhaust. The car doesn't seem to lose speed though. The car doesn't shake either. At cruising speed when you suddenly change gears and floor it, the sound kicks in, just for a split second. Is this a major? Thanks "whatsisname" for answering earlier qn's. Have posted another for you in "Wanted to buy". Thanks. |

Sounds to me like somthing is mounted loose somewere in the exhaust system and when you go underload it just rattles. I don't think its major but you could crawl under the car and have some one rev it up to the range were it makes the noise and try to locate it.
Good luck if ya buy it

Thanks dude.
Will check for that. The exhaust, from outside, is mounted solidly. Could be sthg inside. Thanks anyway. |
