dashboard squeaking

Does anyone know what is causing the squeaks from underneath the dash? It occurs under normal driving conditions while on the road and seems to come from the center of the dash behind the AC vents.

I am also trying to find out about the squeaks... little bumps small squeaks; big bumps big squeaks. I have to find out how to get rid of this soonner or latter. (Rav 4, 4 door, diesel, 8 months old, from Malaga Spain)

my 04 has noises coming from the outer circular vents. these can be removed by carefully prying them forward. suggest using silicone or something similar to take up the slack.
