I have a 95 Chrylser Concorde 3.3V. Problem is this: I had a two-way remote starter alarm put in. Works fine except that first I have to disarm the new alarm then disarm the factory alarm to get into the car without one going off. To use the remote starter I have to do the above procedure then wait for the new alarm to automatically come on before I can remotely start the car. Its a real pain. If anyone knows how I can disable the factory alarm, I would greatly appreciate it. I tried disconnecting the black box under the dash but that didn't work.
Thanx |

Re: Need Help Disabling Factory Alarm
Hmm, I think that can only be disabled by a Dealer, Don't quote me but I think it's a setting in the Body Control Module that the dealer's scan tool can change.

Re: Need Help Disabling Factory Alarm
The disarm in these cars is so easy. Can't fathom the idea that the installer was able to do everything but that@! Anyway, the disarm wire is lt.green/orange 20ga wire and is located in EITHER kick panel. Just a quick - pulse shuts it down.
