Re: Best Supercharger For Lt1?

i havent directly dealt with any charger systems, but from what i have researched on the web i like the vortech engineering kit for the LT1. you can upgrade the charger to the silent belt drive system that does not require any oil lines; makes installation easy...

Should I go for the LT4 conversion kit with the HotCam and all that, or just supercharge mine? There are so many things I want to do when I get it, suggestions would be awesome.

That all depends on how deep your pockets are. I would tell you to do both but the best charger for that application will run you around 4300 to 5000. The LT4 complete conversion kit is around 2000. The suspension and rearend you will need to get all that HP to the ground is about 4000, then if you don't do it yourself...well I'm sure you can imagine the labor.
