Can I use plain old household aluminum foil or should I spring for the hobby stuff?

spend the money and get the good stuff, Bare Metal Foil, there is nothing else like it. and only get Bare Metal Foil, the Model Master stuff is nowhere as good.
Aluminum foil does'nt work at all, its way to thick |

Re: Foil Subsitutes?
Depending on the heat shield, aluminum foil is great for a textured look. I have never used BMF before but have never heard a bad thing about the stuff. Also cigarette foil is another alternative for "cleaner" heat shields.
