Transmission Control System Malfunction

does anybody know what it means when my computer trouble code is saying "transmission control system malfunction" or has anyone had a similar problem. do i need a new tcs? please help if u have time, thanks

obd code is:

P0700 : Tranny Cntrl System Malfunction

[ 1997 Eclipse Automatic RS ]

Have you already gone to the dealer and asked them how to fix it. i would tell you to replace more sensors on your trannie but then it might not even work and you would just be waisting your money.

how do you pull tcu codes, different from ECU codes?
