1994 Grand Am GT 3.1 v6 stalls in reverse after 1500 rpm

When driving forward no problem. The problem is in reverse when you tap the gas to back up, break 1500rpm and the car stall out every time. Performed complete tune up, all filters too. ANYBODY?
