engine swap

i have a 2001 civic. i know i can swap the k series engine into it but that is very pricey. do they make mounts for any other motors i can put in my car. i live in new jersey so i dont know if they have the law against the older engine in new car.

Re: engine swap

no they don't, they only make mounts to put the K-series into older civics.

Re: engine swap

Do a search online for it, because the '01 SI's already have a K-series in there, I'm sure someone probably did a write-up about it somewhere. That's probably your best bet.

Re: engine swap

no, what he was asking is if he could swap an engine other than a k-series into his '01, and the answer as of now is no
