jeep seats

I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee and I have maybe a stupid question, but I've got to ask. The back of the driver's seat does not come foward far enough. I feel like I'm lounging and not sitting up to drive. The passenger side back comes up farther than mine does. Does anybody have any suggestions or know of any kits or adjustments that can make the back of the seat come forward further so I can sit up and drive and look over the darn hood?!
