I'm runnin ANSA stainless mufflers with stainless dual round, dual lipped mufflers. Their much quieter than the SLP LoudMouth and the Borla.....but they have a nice mellow sound that levels out well at highway speeds. No drone. I'm 36 so I like my car just a bit quieter than most 20 year olds.....KWIM?

ANSA Automotive first item on the page. You can kind of see the tips in my sig pic.

Re: aftermarket mufflers....

Cass,
Any price on these mufflers. Seeing I'm 55 do I need to use two soup cans?

Re: Re: aftermarket mufflers....

I paid $250 for the pair....installed. I have the stock exhaust manifolds, down-pipe, converter, and pipes. The only other thing I've done to my exhaust is a u-bend delete.

I'm not worried about having a 12 second car so I looked for something that looked and sounded nice. Horsepower gain was a secondary concern. The nice thing about these mufflers is that at highway speed, when most performance exhausts are deafening, mine is smooth and not loud at all........very important when you have little kids who might fall asleep in the back seat.
