1999 Silverado

I have a 99 silverado that when I use the power door locks they barely lock or unlock the doors. And if I contunuously push the botton the door lock acuators will eventually stop working like they are losing power and then eventually nothing. Relay clicks but thats it. Any idea what causes this?
I don't think it is possible for all four actuators to go bad. It seems the circute losses power afetr about 5 pushes of the botton.

Any ideas welcome.
Bobby

Re: 1999 Silverado

It is probably the Door Lock Actuators. Seems to be a pretty common problem on Chevy Truck. I just ordered some for my Suburban from A1 Electric. BTW, this board is for Chevy Malibu. You may have better luck looking at the Silverado board.

Re: 1999 Silverado

I would beleive it was tha actuators, only that when I rock the switch back and fourth all of them loose energy together. It just seems hard to beleive all of them doing this at the same time.

THank you for your reply. I just started this forum and did not realize I was in the malabu section. I have to learn how to get around on here.
