Im thinking of getting a very old car (about 1935-1945). How much do you think it would cost to get one with a pretty good body(paint doesnt matter). I just want to find one of these types of cars(any make) with a body w/o rust or holes. I dont want it to have an engine or tranny, I just want the body. About how much do you think it would cost to get something like this?

I've seen several for sale along the side of the road over the years, but they all had some degree of rust. (Some quite rusted)
Have you considered building a "Kit Car"? You can get the bodies in fiberglass, and steel. The advantage is a modern type chassis, and engine with the older car look. |
