how do you know if your car is running lean?
Just as the title says... how do you know? I just changed my plugs and the old ones had a rust colored deposits on them but the electrode looked pretty good... as in not worn heavily...
Would the best way to find out is to have the engine thrown on a diagnostic machine?... not the autozone one but at a shop

Re: how do you know if your car is running lean?
Best way is a wideband. Dyno shops use them. If you have a local dyno that has a deal like 50 bucks for 3 pulls (luckily you have a FWD) it might be worth a shot if you're really concerned about it. Plus you'll get some dyno numbers. If it is really lean, the wideband will show you that, and show just how lean you are. Thats what I Would do. A wideband kit is 3-400 bucks.

Doesnt always work unless you shut the motor off at WOT
