Accord Drivers Seat Problem

I got a 2002 Accord EX about 6 weeks ago and have noticed that the Dirver's Seat is "off" by abut an inch or so. I sort of feels like the internal frame of the seatback might be bent just a bit. (I honestly believe the previous owner might have been a very big person who flopped into the seat so many times the seat got bent. Or maybe that's stupid... I don't know.) There is also a squeaking inside the seat that occurs when it is reclined in a certain way. The squeaking sounds liek metal rubbing against metal (slightly.)

Anyway, when I put the seat in its most upright position and sit in it, my left shoulder is against the seatback, right where it should be, and my right shoulder is about an inch away from the seatback. Also, the seat bottom feels like it is leaning to the right, which may just be my perception due to the off-kilter seat back.

Now, I am kicking myself for not noticing this when I bought the car, but hoenstly I was messing with the power seat adjustments so much I failed to notice it. I was more worried about all the functions working and I didn't expect a bent frame.

The car is under factory warranty for another 15000 miles and until June 2005. Does anyone know if such a defect falls under the normal Honda warranty?

I'm actually a bit concerned about the safety issues that arise - i.e. - if the airbags deploy and my seat is off kilter, what happens?

Any feedback would be appreciated. (And, yes, I know I should have noticed it when I bought the car. Spare me that. ) thanks a lot!
