doors

I have a 98 s10, when you open or close the doors it makes this cracking noise. Sounds like the round thing on the top hinge that moves when you open or close the door. Any idea how to fix this?

Re: doors

Use oil,not WD40 or anything along that line.WD40 is actually a degreaser.

Re: doors

I think the grease is to heavy to penetrate.Use oil and lube the wheel and where spring makes contact.

Re: doors

Yes, use a decent lube, greae can't get into the mechanism.
