Unhappy 1998 Suburban again

Is there a non-frustrating method for installing a new in-tank fuel pump and get the o-ring to seat properly?

Frustrated......mine leaks now that the new pump is in place.....

Is the a possibility they gave you the wrong seal, I just changed the puel pump on my 93 and the seal fit fine?

I took out the tank again and the leak was not from the seal. The leak was from a pinched and cracked fuel line. Works fine now. Thanks for your response.
