Cabin Filter

Is there a cabin filter that can be replaced on a 2001 F150? I have an undesirable odor in the cab, and wondered if there was a filter that could be replaced. If so, where is it?

Yes, there is a hepa filter that keeps dust and that from going through the heater and the vents and a/c. This is located just under the wiper on either the driver or passenger side.

It's a little black box looking thing, and you can opo it off and change the filter yourself, very easy.

Your local dealership will have the filter there for you, and may be able to show you where it is for sure, as i'm not certain about prior to '03 trucks, but it SHOULD be as i described.
