Re: 95 civic coupe want to add turbo
They have a complete bolt on kit which is easy to install. In your case...get the shop to install it for you. GO here so u can get an idea..
www.turbo-kits.com Search on www.honda-tech.com You'll see plenty of info there. |

Re: 95 civic coupe want to add turbo
junkyard turbo are good. that homemadeturbo site is nice. but if u dont know much about turbos and what u need to run id go with a kit thats put together by a company. Edelbrock makes a nice kit.

I suspect you would be better off and saving a little more money for a b16 engine swap. you'd get 160 hourses with that which would probably be more than the gains you would get from a turbo on a stock 125 hourse engine.

Re: 95 civic coupe want to add turbo
seen plenty turbo d16z6 smoke stock b16s in civics easy. b16 ill be more realiable but not as fast as the turbo d16. before u do anyhtign u have to plan out what u want to do with the engine u have and if u want to change it. see how much money u have and plan it out.

Re: 95 civic coupe want to add turbo
Just buy the Edelbrock kit and be done with it. It's a great kit for people who are just starting out in the scene and don't know much about turboing a vehicle yet.

Pretty impressive numbers. Probably cost more than the b16a itself. |

Re: 95 civic coupe want to add turbo
how much does a b16 or b18 cost? you could buy a complete kit for around 1500, keep your stock internals, and still be pushing more hp and torque than a b18 swap

Re: 95 civic coupe want to add turbo
why do you think they cost more than 1500, i see full kits all the time for 1500-2000.
just as an example: Quicksilver -- 184.5whp 170wtq D16y8 stock -- Greddy kit -- 8 psi -- Blue box stock engine, greddy kit with a intercooler(you could use a dsm side mount, $20) even if you spent 2000 on that(how much the stock greddy kit costs), its still cheaper and putting out more power
