where can i get a scanner for codes?

i want to buy a scanner for my dodge ram 1997 truck to scan codes and i can clear them. they make anything like this? i have one for my foreign car and i can do anything with the computer

local parts store like auto zone maybe. If not JC Whitney may have them.

I got mine from mac. they have them for about 400 bucks, mine was a lot more because I have my own shop and work on a lot of vehicles. also another way that you can get them is if you have a chip it come with a pregramer. and you can get them from napa
