need opions on trans am

Hi, I saw a commercial that said "push or pull your car and recieve $2500 off your car purchase" so I drive down and take a look. I see a black 94 firebird. I ask the guy if he had any 98 or above (I like the dual headlights and nose) he said that was the only one and that he rarely gets them. So looking at it I see the tag list it was 5.7l V8,(now I get a hell of alot more interested). To make a long story short, he is selling it for $7999 with only 46,000 miles on it. Here is my problem, I really want a 98 because I perfer the look of them as I listed above. Is it possible and how much would it cost to make a 94 T/A look like a 98 Ram Air T/A. I am debating wheter saving my money to pickup either a LS1 or 3800 98, but since I think this is pretty good for LT1 car I kinda want it. Any opinions or help would be greatly appreciated.

If it's just the look your goin for just go and buy a 98-99 firebird and put a ram air hood on. If you want the actual power buy the LT1 or save for the LS1. I would much rather have the power because wether it happens once or a hundred times, you will end up at a red light with another V8 car beside you, don't you want to be able to beat him instead of being embarrassed
