subs

i have an 2001 extended cab and am wondering if anyone with a similar truck put subs in. i have heard that under the seats is good and maybe even mount them on the rear wall(to conserve space?). any info would be great.

Re: subs

Make a box and pad the top and upholster it. Viola, you now have a bench back seat.

Re: subs

Under the seats would be impossible,no room.JL Audio makes a S-10 stealthbox that houses 2 10s and it blends in,so you really can't see it(stealth). The only downfall is it's hefty pricetag.Making a box would a good idea also.

Re: subs

They're right, Boxxes would never fit under those seats.

If you make your own box look at this web site http://www.carstereo.com/help/Articles.cfm?id=70 for some tip's and tricks before you start

Re: Re: subs

my cousin made a box and has 4 10's it takes up all the space behind his seats. I have a standard cab w/ 2 10's behind the seats. they sound good, i custom made boxes myself. i can give you the dimensions if you want them. they take up minimal room and if your trying still use the space back there these boxes would be perfect.

Nice truck.
I just love the fact that you didn't wash it before the photos. Seriously it shows that you use it.

those speakers really do fill up your back seat nicely

this is the real way you fit multiple subs in a single cab dime. you FIBERGLASS. we put 3 8's and 2 amps in fiberglass which goes behind his seats and down his center console. suprisingly it sounds really really good.

here is a pic

Re: subs

Looks intresting. But I can't say that I would want anything looking like that in anything that I own

Nice job shaping the fiberglass
