Re: clutch life?
its hard to tell... depends how much you drive the car, out of that how much do you beat it... is it a stock clutch or aftermarket clutch? basically does it still engauge/disengauge properly? if so you should be fine

Re: clutch life?
if a car is driven normally, it would be no suprise if a clutch starts to go after about 200 000km, but really depends on your driving

Re: clutch life?
im almost positive my car has the origional oem clutch from the factory with 106k on it.. and i bought it 20k ago and since then the stress on it has been above average to say the least.. i think its a case by case basis though.. i mean theres just a lot of variables that would have to be factored in for a estimate like that..

Re: clutch life?
totally agree, i had to change my clutch @ 210 000km on my dsm, but had a mazda from brand new that i drove to 650 000km b4 it got totaled on original clutch. But then i drive the dsm much harder than the mazda.

88,000 miles and it still feels perfect.

Re: clutch life?
On the other hand, I only get ~10-20k miles out of a clutch when I daily drive and race it, and a couple hundred miles if I'm not daily driving it. Just to illustrate that it varies WIDELY based on power levels, clutch type, and use.

Re: clutch life?
i have a 91 with, i am pretty sure, is an oem clutch. i have basic mods and it's slipping in the 1st 2 gears. drove just fine when it was completly stock. so it all depends on your driving habits.
