Question Hard Start and fast Idle?

I have an 1988 Cherokee with the FI I6. In the morning it is really hard to start. The engine turns over hard but it is as if it's just not getting any gas. Eventually it will start. However sometimes it requires me to pop start it down the driveway. The rest of the day it starts fine but idles high. If any one could help with this it would be great. My guesses are the TPS, Fuel Filter, or Fuel Pump. Thought I would ask around before I started pulling parts.

HI, THERE IS A FUEL PUMP RESISTOR ON THE DRIVERS SIDE FENDER UNDER HOOD. IT'S A WHITE CERAMIC BLOCK WITH TWO WIRES TRY JUMPING THE TERMINALS. IT CAUSES HARD START AND BAD ERRATIC IDLES. USUALLY CHEAPER TO REPLACE IF BAD ABOUT 7.00$ DALE [email protected]
HAVE PIC. IF YOU NEED
