Haha Now Front Brakes

I've been working with brakes since i've been 14. This T-bird is the only car that's ever done this, aight now my story. I installed PowerStop Pads on both front wheels, I did not sand the pads down like i probably should of, so alot of dust is being created on the passenger side rim (i mean ALOT), and u can also hear a lot of rubbing and hard stops, now with the drivers side you dont see all the dust on the rim like the passenger side, the brakes seem to be working its just a mystery to me why one side should have dust all over the rim when the other leaves no dust. Maybe i put something on wrong? maybe somethings mis-aligned? hopefully one of yall can help me, thanks.
