Distributor bushing?

A buddy of mine has a 1998 ram 360 and it has a miss at higher RPMs the troble code it throws (sometimes) is the cam sensor, the sensor has been changed twice the dist. has been changed. The dealer tech said there is a bushing in the engine block for the dist. that can crack very easy , And to change it the intake must be removed . Has anyone else had this type of problem and is there really a bushing in the block to change. He has had many people tell him it does and several tell him thier is no bushing.

Re: Distributor bushing?

Just tell him to get it fixed. He shouldn't be so paranoid of people.
