Trailer hitch wiring.....

Is there somewhere to hook up my trailer wiring?
I can not find it...

how long is a piece of string? lol, need some more information. do you have a tow package? i assume it's a grand cherokee?

no i do not have the tow package. I just installed the hitch last week. Yes it is a 97 grand cherokee L6 2wd

the factory trailer harness connects inside the left rear console panel behind where the inside spare sits. ive never had the panel off to see what that looks like in there so maybe you can take a picture and show us if you like. do you have a aftermarket harness the factory harness exits the cab near the center of the rear hatch through the floor.

I do not have a harness yet nor the trailer. Im ganna going to go get one soon. May be this weekend. When i do take out the spare i will post a picture with my findings. Thanks alot for the info

What kind of trailer Travel Trailer or ulitity? It makes a difference as to whay kind of trailer harness to get.

Any parts store or even Wallmart should carry it.Its a little more complicated if you are doing a Travel Trailer.Like the other post says access is through the panell behind spare tire.All you have to do is to unplug the harness and plug the new one in.
