Converting my 95 240 to a 97 240...

I recently got a black 240 its a 95. I had to fly down to LA area to pick it up from a dealer and drove for 7 hours home. Call me crazy, but these cars are worth it.

I have given it a lot of through and i was either gonna stick to my 95 and just put a body kit on it or change it to the S15 front end, but thats hecka money and it just wont look complete if i dont do the S15 taillights as well.. so i made my final choice and will be converting to S14MC the 97-97 model .. MC stand for minor change, unless they use other abbreviation but i know it stands for something similar to minor change.

So i will be buying the stock 97-98 front bumper and the headlights and the fenders, i will probably end up doing the carbon envader hood on a black car... dont know if that would look awesome or just retarted so we will see haha, and ill do the 97 taillights as well, they are rare, but ill have to look around places. Ill also probably do the stock side skirts as well, unless i find some other nice looking ones that wont make my car look all ricy and crap!

the 2 questions i have is this... does anyone know where i can find that JDM Silvia S14 Ks Spoiler? I have been looking for a while and those aRE HARD TO FIND.

The other question is where can i find a front bumper bottom lip? The stock bumper just looks unfinished and i have seen pictures of those stock bumpers with lips and they just look so much better, if i was to see it on the street, without a doubt i would think thats some tight body kit or something ...

thanks guys.

Why does everyone want to change their zenkis to koukis? it just doesnt make sense to me. i mean whats wrong with the zenki i think it looks a whole lot better than the kouki but thats just me. but seriously like mynismo said you should have just bought a kouki first or how bout this just leave it a zenki thats what it is ,not a kouki. sorry just a rant

well the thing is about 240s you dont have many options and the only options you do have is with the 95 and 96 models, the 97-98 ones are very hard to find if you are like me. I wanted a black one 5spd and i was only looking to spend no more than $6k , so pretty much if i find a black 5 speed i take what i can and make it how i like it. i want to change the zenki to a kouki is because it just looks meaner, and i was either gonna do the S15 front end but without doing the rear as well that would just look retarted i think. SO i decided to do S14 to S14MC and i have found a good cheap site that sells factory parts for the 97-98 models and i also want to keep it stock and not get all ricy all over the place, and 97-98 model has a stock nice bomper with a added front lip so its a perfect stock car conversion is what im doing

With the money you spend you could piece together your own turbo kit. Whats the point of buying the zenki if your gonna convert it . if you were going to go radical or something like r33 front or s15 front than id be like go for it but zenki to kouki hmmm it just isnt worth it for the s14. But its your car so do as you wish... make sure you can get a nice job done on it man and since your going to be blowing money anyways get some HID's... they cost a pretty penny but they make night driving a whole lot better as we all know. or not lol.
