4-2-1 will give you more midrange power, a 4-1 will give you top end power.

i prefer ceramic because i think it looks better

i agree, i'm pushing a 4-1 ceramic header, but I'm all for top end. Its more or less which you'd prefer. would you want a little more torque and a little more hp on your Virtually Torqueless Economy car (V-tec) with a 4-2-1 or would you want more hp top end with a 4-1?

Re: which header to get

I went with the 4-2-1 dc header because i feel that the car before vtec is way slower then when the vtec kickes in at 4800 so i want the low-end torque because the vtec handles the high-end just fine... all though i have heard great things about the 4-1 header ...... also ceramic does look better .... but this whole reply is just my opinion!!!!!!

Re: which header to get

the best header for 300-350 price range is the JDM DC sports. I had it on my rex and it was great!Of course for b-series. The very best header and very expensive is the SMSP header!

Re: which header to get

well there could be many reasons why your loosing power ... but i know if you do get a vtec/air fuel controller you can correct the power loss

Check your distributor cap n coil. See if your rotor is on tight.
