2003 Sunroof shade noise (not the same rattle)

I had the well known sunroof rattle fixed with the tubes and felt. Now there is another problem. At certain speeds - about 35-45 MPH - the sunroof shade starts buffeting loudly. The airflow is causing it to resonate. I barely touch it and the noise stops. I figured the easiest solution was to remove the dealer installed wind deflector; if you look at the pop-up factory wind deflector they obviously put a lot of thought into it. Well, that solved the buffeting problem, but that wind deflector whistles sometimes.

I called the dealer and they said that they are aware of the buffeting problem and that I need to crack open the rear window. They had never tried taking off the dealer installed wind deflector, so they had never heard of the whistling.

Anybody else run into this? Any solutions?

I had similar issue, I found if i opened the sunroof about 80% instead of all the way it eliminated any rattling or vibrating. Opening the rear window an inch also helps.
