Question Looking for GT-R

Hi Guys,

is the R34 really worth $89k ?? I checked Japans price on R34 and it
was somewhere around $45k

What's Motorex trying to do ? paying their bills by ripping off their
customers ??????? and how much does the car weigh after
they add the extra weight for crash test ?

A car is only worth what you are willing to pay for it.

As for MotoRex, they do have an overhead to pay for. Its really not like they are making money hand over fist, but they are making a good chunk per car.

Well, the 90,000~ USD price set by motorex is a little high IMHO. But they are the only RIs who can submit complence packages on Skylines, GTRs or whatever, any VCP 17 nissan. So they kindof have the market cornered, but I'm not gonna bash um, they are just like anyone else trying to keep their business afloat. They DID have to crash 3 of each type that they wanted to become RIs for and figure out exactialy what had to be done to get them in complience. Any how, as for the dealer OTD price, they can be found anywere from 43k USD to 50k USD depending on what dealer you go to. But they can be found used for anywere from 30k USD to 40k USD. I've even heard of people buying them for 25k...
Weight after complience... I'm not sure but you could find out by finding out the weight of new bumpers, new type 2 seat belts, new airbags assemblies (I think) and throw in mby 75lbs for other bits that I don't know of. Or you could pay Motorex 1 million bucks and get the list and find out

*Edit*
You can find out more about what must be added and changed to get an R34 in complience with DOT in 49CFR 571.208
Hope that helps ya
