High Pressure Line

96 Grand am se V6 do I have to remove the brake bosster to replace the high pressure line for the power steering.,????????

no, but the fitting at the rack is a nightmare to do. I cut my old one off, allowing me to use a deep well socket to get the old one out, then used a wrench to tighten the new one in place. Make sure you take a couple of patience pills before you start, and don't do it in front of women, children or your pastor, as your language might get a little mature rated

I took it to autozone a local repair shop and they told me if it was the hight pressure line it would be 110.00 to repair...I have no problem paying that..but they will also tell me I need to change this and that, I wish I could just see where its leaking from....I cant see where the line connects at the rack
