93 4.3L HO Vortec z series egr valve replacement help

Where is the ERG valve located on this truck? How hard is it to replace?..I hear just a few bolts. What should I expect to pay for new one? Any special tools needed?

Need to fix soon for my father. All info would help?

Looking in from the front of the radiator, it will under the throttle body. You will have to remove a few things to get to it easy. Why does it need to be replaced? If it is stuck, it may have a piece of carbon in it and all you need do is clean it out.

first of all, does your engine have the orange VORTEC plate on the top of the engine? Or does it have the round filter?
