For all those looking to mod your Evo 7's

First of all Save your money and get some driving lessons first. You think you can drive till you go to a track and get your ass kicked by a Civic or integra. I learned this 2 years ago when I went to a FAT(Friday at the Track) event. Most of you who want to do mods already need to know that the human body is the greatest machine of all not the one your in. It's whats behind the wheel that counts not whats under the hood. I hate this same old trendy crap that everyone seems to be propetuating. In my day we called it "being a Poser". Its retarded!! a car should first and foremost get you from point A to point B. Cars are just bent metal that we put life into. So if you absolutly are dying to spend the money cause your divorce father and mother are trying to buy your affection then go ahead POSER. Be somthing.... Back that fly car up yo!!! What ever..... Grow up!!!

excuse me but I have not seen you on any posts about mods yet MR drkcloud!!! I'm just tired of all those punks out there who waist there money on crap thay don't need like wings and ghost lighting and NOS that melts your piston rings and stuff like that. For those who can and have learned how to control a car this comment is not for you!!!

Right right, I understand what your saying but your talking to rice kiddies. I take a bit of a different approach, I support them fully in over boosting there little engines in the hopes that they blow them out sooner and that’s one less kiddy trying to race me on my way to the store. Rice is dumb, make it practical or leave it alone and when I say that I'm talking about combat wings on the back of the HX civics. Boost all you want, nos it all up, slam your car as hard as you want but just know what your doing or you'll learn the hard way. But hey that too is up to you, if you have money to spare, then learn the hard way.

That goes back to your little speech, if someone wants to load there car up good for them. If they don't want to focus on there driving skill so what? One mans pleasure may be working on the cars and not driving them. The idea that driving a car the right way beats putting mod's on a car is not a new one, it’s old wisdom. You strike me as a real newbie trying to hold his own weight when you post something like that.

thanks I guess I don't understand all this useless modification. But if its give them a sense of accomplishment than so be it. It is hard to work on cars, I'll give them that. I just hate to see good money waisted. I guess I'm just an older guy who is in love with a newer car.

I'm all for speed so long as it's done right. If you ever want a good laugh check out i-club.com/forums/ and see how many newbies throw up the boost on there new wrx then get detination, then suddenly they blow there engine and are clueless to what happend. Information is so important, I just wish more read up on what they do to there cars before they do them.

hold on, let me change my rear wing, add some rims, and a BOV.. then add some stickers and i have a 10s 1/4mile racer lol

Modification can be good to some extent if your after a small power increase because ur not happy with the current output. I'd only do minor engine mods, and maybe add some nice rims, other then that, nothing else.
