i have a 99 venture with the 4T65E that shifts fine 90 percent of the time and when it get sometimes when it gets hot it shifts hard but not all the time, new filter/fluid, its clean and not burnt, my wife was telling me about it but when i drove it it did not do it, finally got it do shift hard and was wondering if anybody else know what to check

From another post here:
There was a GM TSB #00-07-30-002B that referenced a problem with the PC solenoid inside the transmission.
The faulty solenoid would cause pressure changes inside the trans that would cause the trans to shift hard or shutter.

Also, I read a post that said this is not damaging to the transmission, merely an annoyance. The pressure control solenoid is around 50 bucks, but may be quite a chore to replace. I'm gonna look into this more cause I don't mind taking something apart, I just don't wanna have to drop the tranny to do it.
